Discussion on theory and method of oil reservoir operation management for oil companies

Based on the systematic analysis of intension, basic features, main practice and the newest progress of oil reservoir management abroad,the advantages of carrying out oil reservoir management for Chinese oil companies are pointed out through contrast. The key methods of oil reservoir operation management in China are discussed combined with the actual condition of Chinese oil companies. Some important links of oil -gas reserve estimate,reserve asset operation,fine management for old oilfields,oil - gas capital run and so on should be controlled. Exploitation cost of reserves should be reduced through new system and mechanism so as to maximize the resource usage and economic benefit.
