合理、正确地配置域名系统 ,为入网用户提供快速、便捷的名字解析并在其上实现电子邮件系统、WWW服务 ,是保证网络性能 ,为用户提供良好服务的基础。WindowsNT环境下的域名系统配置虽然简单、方便 ,但大多数内部网的网络管理中心都使用UNIX环境 ,因此在SUNSolaris环境下阐述Intranet的域名系统配置方法具有普遍意义。以抚顺石油学院的校园网服务器配置为例阐述了域名系统的工作模式、配置类型、涉及的配置文件以及各配置参数的意义 ,给出了在Solaris环境下进行域名系统配置的一般方法。用该方案配置的系统已在抚顺石油学院校园网上平稳运行

Domain Name System Configuration of Campus Network in Solaris

Domain name system (DNS) is the foundation of guaranteeing network performance and providing good service for users. Proper DNS configuration will provide users rapid and convenient domain name resolution , realize electronic mail system, and World Wide Web Services. Configuring domain system in Windows NT is easy and convenient, but the network management centers of the most Intranets generally use UNIX system. Therefore, it is meaningful to expound Intranet's DNS configuration scheme in SUN Solaris environment. Taking the configuration of campus network server of Fushun petroleum institute as an example, through explanation of the work mode, configuration types, configuration files and pertinent parameters, the general method of DNS configuration in Solaris environment was derived. The system that uses the above scheme ran smoothly in Fushun petroleum institute's campus network and realizes smooth transition in system upgrade.
