URBAN ISSUES

The projects that are presented in this issue of World Architecture are located in different countries such as Germany, Holland, Norway, Austria, Canada, China and Spain. The offices from which the work has been produced are based in China, Germany and Holland, with some offices having branches in Canada, Holland and Hungary. The connection within Europe and to North America shows that young architects in Europe have to create networks across the globe, in order to receive commissions. In China, the situation is different, With the building boom, architects must rather develop strong concepts in order to combat the violations wrought by high-speed contractors and to cope with fast changing programs.
