Application of new pulse vector network analyzer to T/R module test

The test method and the automatic control method of new pulse vector network analyzer using narrowband detection technology are described.Two hardware configurations of T/R module pulse high power test are presented.The principle of setting the IF gate of network analyzer receiver is explained in detail.The hardware method of IF gate is summarized.The relation between DUT respond time and IF gate delay setting is analzyed by test data of numerical control phase shifter.The parameter setting method of IF gate is proposed.These test methods have been applied to the phased array radar's T/R modules test successfully.
