弧型波导全光开关的优化设计

摘    要:应用光束传输法对基于三阶非线性材料的弧型波导全光开关的开关特性进行了模拟,对两波导中心距、宽度及其不对称性等几何参数对开关特性的影响进行了分析,并对其进行了优化设计。结果表明,优化设计后的弧型波导全光开关具有较低的平均开关功率、数值化多次开关特性,有着弱光非线性全光开关的应用前景。

Abstract:A simulation for the switching property of an arc all optical waveguide switch based on three order nonlinear materials is carried out by using beam propagation method. The influence of geometric parameters such as central distance between two waveguides, width and asymmetry on switching property are analyzed, and their optimization design is carried out. The result shows that the arc all optical waveguide switch with optimum design has a lower mean switching power, numerical switching property and an application prospect for low light level nonlinear all optical switch.
