Improved Method for Simulation of NC Lathe Processing

The construction of mathematics model of a workpiece for numerical control (NC) processing simulation has been discussed in the paper. The deficiencies of the traditional mathematical model have been analyzed and an improved model is presented, based on which a more precise and more efficient algorithm is introduced. The system architecture of the program is analyzed based on the concept of modularized programming. The result of experiment demonstrates that the new algorithm has lower rate of system resources occupation and higher reliability and is of practical use.
