Management of Construction Enterprise as EPC Contractor upon the Engineering Design

EPC （ Engineering, Procurement and Construction） contract is a popular way for the execution of international project. The execution organizing of the international EPC project could be under the mode that the construction enterprise is as contractor and the design company is as sub,contractor of engineering design for the EPC project. This paper will discuss how the construction enterprise, which is in lack of abilities and experiences in design, effectively manage subcontractor＇s design. Management measures are proposed concerning the quality and progress control and the application of ＂Value Engineering＂ strategy.
