| Abstract: | Some simple error estimations for the approximate coefficients in the expansion of a real function by orthonormal polynomials are given. First we replace the function by an interpolation polynomial of degreen according to anyn+1 interpolation nodes, and in the second case we choose the nodes as the roots of some orthonormal polynomials of degreen+1. |
