由于存在强竞争力旅游吸引物缺乏、城市旅游形象差、旅游发展政策不完善等旅游发展瓶颈,湘潭市城区正处于"基本无旅游"的尴尬境地。城区未来旅游发展应借助长株潭一体化趋势与成就,抓住湘江旅游经济带建设机遇,把握旅游消费变化动向,基于自身旅游资源禀赋,通过打造特色旅游吸引物、创新旅游产品、改善城市风貌活化城区旅游,以扩大旅游局影响力、成立国有旅游建设投资公司、完善旅游产业发展政策等为保障,推动城区旅游转型升级。

Study on the Urban Tourism Development Bottlenecks and Breakthroughs of Xiangtan in the Transition Period

Due to some tourism development bottlenecks,such as the lack of strong competitive tourist attractions,poor urban tourism image,imperfect tourism development policies etc,Xiangtan is in an awkward position of "no tourism".In order to achieve a sound and fast development of urban tourism,Xiangtan should take advantage of the integration with Changsha and Zhuzhou,seize the opportunities of the construction of "Xiangjiang Tourism Economic Zone",grasp the trends of tourism consumption changes,and make use of its own tourism resources endowment so as to create special tourism attractions,innovate tourism products,and improve the urban style to activate urban tourism.Besides,Xiangtan should expand the influence of the Tourism Bureau,establish of the state-owned tourism construction and investment companies,and improve the tourism industry development policies to promote the transformation and upgrading of the Xiangtan urban tourism.
