Topology inference based on tomography technology

Network tomography is a new technique of network measurement,it combines network measurement with statistical inference,which can solve some problems. Network topology inference is one of the main applications of network tomography,which can infer the topology of network through end to end measurement and does not need the cooperation of internal nodes.In this paper,the measurement methods and topology inference methods are analyzed, the problems of the current and the next step researches on network topology inference are discussed.
