| Abstract: | Landscape Architecture is an old and young course in China. In order to strengthen integration of LA and its ability of resolving practical problems, its foundational theories must be studied because of the needs of social practice and LA development in Chino. Compared with developed countries, there ore bigger differences in the fields of theories, methods and technical of LA in China. The framework of the foundational theories of LA is analyzed from four aspects such as ontology, values, methodology and practice. The structure of LA course system is suggested. |
