| Abstract: | The re-use of frequencies in the coming satellite telecommunications systems by means of orthogonal polarisations is based on the knowledge of the values of crosspolarisation discrimination (XPD) which are to be expected. The letter gives results of about one year's measurements of the improvement in XPD due to site diversity. |
