苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物乳液的合成与应用

摘    要:以苯乙烯、马来酸酐为原料,以过氧化苯甲酰为引发剂,在甲苯中进行无规共聚,经过沉淀分离、改性制备出了苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物乳液表面施胶剂。采用IR表征了苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物的结构。利用SEM观察了施胶纸张的表面情况。结果表明,用苯乙烯马来酸酐共聚物对纸张进行表面施胶,能提高纸张的施胶度和表面强度,施胶剂用量为0.5g/m2时,施胶度为13s,抗张强度提高13.5%,耐破度提高16.0%,与淀粉、PVA复配均有明显的表面施胶效果。

Abstract:A new type of surface sizing agent was prepared by random copolymerization of styrene and maleic anhydride with initiator of benzoyl peroxide in the medium of toluene, then the resultant complymer was precipitated, separated and modified .The structure of the copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride was determined by mean of IR spectroscopy, the surface of the sized paper was studied by means of SEM.The copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride is an efficient surface sizing agent which can improve the sizing degree and surface strength of the paper, sizing degree is 13s, tensile strength increases 13.5%, breaking strength increases 16.0% when the dosage of surface sizing agent is 0.5g/m2, the sizing efficiency of this surface sizing agent is satisfactory when it is used together with starch or PVA.
