降低WCDMA Rake接收机功耗的一种方法

WCDMA系统中手机的功率消耗是衡量系统特性的一个重要因素，降低系统消耗的功率可以提高系统容量，改善系统性能。传统的接收机消耗功率很大，文中提出了一种结构变换的方法，论证了该方法可以有效的降低WCDMA系统中Rake接收机所消耗的功率，最后采用VLSI实现该接收机，结果表明该方法明显降低了系统功耗。

A method of reducing power consumption of WCDMA Rake

The power consumption in the handset in Wide Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA)spread spectrum system has been one of the most important considerations in both system design and in implementation,lower required received power leads to higher system capacity.In this paper,we address the issues of designing low power VLSI implementation of the power hungry digital block in the WCDMA system,namely the RAKE receiver.We demonstrate the use of architectural transformation to reduce the power consumption of the RAKE receiver.Experimental results show significant reduction in power consumption.
