景德镇与石湾两地同属陶瓷艺术的重要窑口,创作风格各有千秋。通过对在两地陶艺创作中起到关键性差异的"材料"这一因素来进行比较,分析由材质所产生的创作上的差异性,从而丰富现代陶艺创作的语言,探索陶艺材料的融合与创新。

The Comparison of the Materials for Modern Pottery between Jingdezhen and Shiwan

Pottery is an indispensable part of the author＇s life after seven years of studying in Jingdezhen, where she was deeply impressed by its profound ceramic tradition, and another seven years of teaching pottery in Guangdong, where she was exposed to the influence of Shiwan pottery. Jingdezhen and Shiwan are two important pottery making places, but with different styles. This paper makes a comparison of the pottery materials between the two areas to uncover the differences of their pottery works derived from the materials, to enrich the language of modem pottery and to find a way to realize the fusion and innovation of pottery of different styles.
