Abstract:In this paper the ability of Nb-V and Nb-Ti microalloyed steels to resist austenite grain growth and the impact toughness of the two steels after high temperature welding thermal cycle are compared. Research results indicate that impact toughness of welding heat affected zone of Nb-Ti steel is higher than that of Nb-V steel.
