| Abstract: | The progress in research on shape memory alloys used for the active and passive control in mechanical structures and used for micro-parts in micro-electro-mechanical systems is mainly introduced in this paper. The applications of shape memory alloys in the army machines, medical apparatus, and micro-electro-mechanical systems are also reviewed. And the future research trend of shape memory alloys in the mechanical engineering is prospected. |
