| Abstract: | The cable assemblies of the new Wembley Stadium. The Wembley Stadium is the home of England's national football team. It is also used for cup finals, music events and athletics. It therefore is a highly representative stadium. This location is one of the most famous in the history of football, because it has seen one of the most controversial goals (1966). The impressive new Wembley Stadium has been opened in March 2007 and it certainly has the potential to provide a framework for future glorious times in football. The cable assemblies of the new Wembley Stadium are integral to the design of the building. A couple of special‐purpose solutions have been developed between the roof contractor and the cable manufacturer to realise the stadium design. |
