| Abstract: | The course of the glutaraldehyde synthesis was briefly introduced. The processes for synthesis of glutaraldehyde by pyridine method,pyran method,oxidation dehydrogenation of 1,5 pentanediol,and cyclopentene oxidation by H 2O 2 and so forth were mainly reviewed. |
