论建筑的文化意义

建筑艺术是由技术支撑下的观念表达,它以物质的形式肩承了一定时代的文化意义。建筑的风格、形式、结构是社会发展综合变量的产物,而不仅仅是设计师个人的产物。欧洲19～20世纪初围绕着＂建筑如何发展＂展开了激烈的论战,单独强调风格、形式和结构的重要性,从根本上忽略了建筑的社会文化意义。本文结合西方建筑发展史简述了西方建筑的社会文化意义,对于中国现代建筑发展具有一定的参考价值。

The Cultural Significance of Architecture

Architecture is a concept Supported by the technology which shouldeded some cultural significance of a certain era in the form of material.Architectural style,form,structure is the product of social development of integrated variables,not just the product of designer.Around 19-20 century Europe engaged in a fierce debate on ＂ the development of architecture ＂,a separate emphasis on style,form and structure of importance,fundamentally ignored the architecture of the social and cultural significance.This paper outlines the socio-cultural significance of Western architecture on the base of the history of Western architecture ,maybe it will have some reference value on the development of Chinese modern architecture.
