ADVANCES IN RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF EMULSIFYING WAX IN CHINA

The types and manufacturing methods of emulsifying wax were reviewed. The influences of emulsion agents, emulsion reaction temperature and time,and agitation velocity on the stability of e- mulsifying wax were discussed. The progress in the research and application of emulsifying wax in the domestic textile industry, wood-based panel industry, papermaking industry, polishing agent, agri- culture,emulsion explosives, etc, were addressed. The domestic market prospects for the emulsifying wax were analyzed and it was pointed out that the development direction of the emulsifying wax in China is the production in large scale and supplement of the series.
