英国地质调查局数据产品资源及服务概况（增刊）

英国地质调查局是世界上最早成立的国家地质调查局和世界一流的地球科学信息与技术中心,主要致力于为政府提供公益性科学服务,研究并理解地球及环境的作用过程,加深对固体地球体系的结构、性质和过程的了解。自成立以来,根据其不同时期的职责定位,英国地质调查局在能源、环境化学、地质、地球物理、土建监测、地下水、灾害、海洋、矿产、三维模型等专业方面形成了海量的数据产品资源,很大程度上支撑和保障了英国的经济竞争力、地质信息服务水平以及人们的生活质量。本文通过对英国地质调查局数据产品资源情况进行初步的概述,期望为我国地学数据产品的研究、开发及社会化服务提供一些借鉴和科学依据。

Overview of the Data Products Resources and Services of British Geological Survey

The British geological survey (BGS) is the world"s first national geological survey and a world-leading earth science information and Technology centre. It focuses on public-good science for government, and research to understand earth and environmental processes. It advances understanding of the structure, properties and processes of the solid Earth system through interdisciplinary surveys, monitoring and research for the benefit of society. Since its founded, according to its different responsibilities of different periods, BGS has formed vast amounts of geological data products resources in the fields of energy, environmental chemistry, geology, geophysics, ground conditions, groundwater, hazards, marine, minerals and 3D models, which are largely supported and ensured the UK economic competitiveness, geological information service and people"s quality of life. This paper provides some references and scientific basis for the basic research and the social service of geological information in our country by the preliminary overview of the geological data products of the British Geological Survey.
