| Abstract: | Abstract The Chinese government has decided to establish a planner certification system as part of the planning reform in China,and it is looking for experience in other countries.The article discusses the main functions of a certification system including certification of its members,ethnical performance of members,accreditation in planning education and continuing education base on AICP,s practice in the US.The author also gives comments on the American experience and suggestions to Chinese planners. |
