Food Ingredients and Products Testing
Abstract:Quality assessment of food, involving raw materials, and final products, is of great importance for having and maintaining high quality standards. There are two main different aspects determining the overall quality of foods, including the quality in terms of sensoring characteristics, stability and nutritional value, safety with respect to microbiology, contaminant and toxins. Every year millions of people in both developed and developing countries are falling ill, because of the microbiological contamination and chemical hazard, and thus food safety is of increasing.
