| Abstract: | The symbolic attribute and characteristic of dress patterns in China are anatomized in the light of symbolization, indication action, and systematization. The ways and means to study the dress culture are offered in terms of semeiology. If semeiology is used as the theoretical tools studying the dress patterns, deep cultural meaning of the Chinese dress pattern can be found out. |
