| Abstract: | A method for the determination of silver in waste water by flow injection-photometry is described.The method is based on the reaction between Ag+ and 5-(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene)-rhodamine in an ammonical meduim in the presence of OP-10.The concentration range of determination is 2.0-20.0 ppm for Ag.and detection limit 0.4 ppm.A sampling rate of 120 per hour is offered.The RSD is better than 3.0% and the results obtained for the determination of waste water samples are in agreement with those by AAS. |
