四川气田长期来大都用无缝钢管输送在开发生产中产生的卤水，导致钢管内表面遭受严重腐蚀，通常仅使用1年就发生穿孔，渗漏，采取外包绝缘层和内涂防腐层处理，也只能使用3-5年，泄漏出的卤水污染环境并引发经济赔偿纠纷，给天然气生产带来很大困难。文章介绍SMITH螺纹连接玻璃钢管在四川和重庆气田成功替代原气田上使用的钢质和塑料管线输送气田卤水的情况，包括SMITH螺纹连接玻璃钢管的基本技术特点，以及在四川省和重庆市各气田上的具体应用效果。最后指出，SMITH螺纹连接玻璃钢管用于输送卤水不仅解决了防腐和承压的问题，还具有投资少，压损小，节能，安装方便，便于维修等优点。

Application of the Fibreglass Pipe With Smith Screw Joint to Gas Fi eld Brine Transmission

??For transmitting the brine produced in the gas production,the seamless steel pipe has been used for a long time in most of the cases in Sichuan gas fields,China,which makes the internal surface of the steel pipe seriously corroded,perforated and leak through only after its being used for one year in general.Through wrapping insulating barrier on the pipe's external surface and coating anti corrosion insulation on the pipe's internal surface,the service life can be prolonged 3??5 years only.The leaked out bri ne not only contaminated the environment but also touched off the economic reparation dispute,bringing a great difficulty in the gas production.In this paper,the case of successfully replacing the steel and plastic pipe formerly used in Cho ngqing and Sichuan gas fields by the fibreglass pipe with SMITH screw joint to transmit brine in the gas field,including the basic technical properties of the fibreglass pipe with SMITH screw joint and the results in their use in Sichuan and Chongqing gas fields is presented.At last,the paper indicates that by use of fibreglass pipe with SMITH screw joint for brine transmission,not only the problems of corrosion and load can be solved,but also there are such advantages as little investment,small pressure loss,energy conservation and convenient installation and maintenance,etc.
