| Abstract: | It is shown that the minimum temperature hysteresis of 30 mK, observed for the hcp-fcc4He transition near the triple point with the fluid, is a consequence of the adiabatic character of this transition.Research supported in part by grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. |
