Abstract: | Abstract— A current‐mode ambient‐light sensing circuit, which is composed of p‐intrinsic‐metal (p‐i‐m) diodes and p‐type low‐temperature polycrystalline‐silicon (LTPS) thin‐film transistors (TFTs) for autobrightness control of display panels. The proposed sensing circuit exhibits a wide dynamic range of 56 dB, while the output signal range is 1.8 times wider than that of a previously reported sensing circuit. |
