| Abstract: | A case history is presented of a woman with systemic lupus erythematosus, sepsis and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Conventional treatment was supplemented with intravenous human immunoglobulin with remarkable effect. The treatment is discussed. |
