An experiment to investigate the superfluid transition in a confined planar geometry

Abstract:The vibrational characteristics of the FCC–cryocrystals with substitutional impurities have been analyzed. A ldquonon–centralrdquo impurity atom in environment of the ldquocentralrdquo host atoms is considered. The difference between equilibrium interatomic distances 
$$\widetilde{r_0 }$$
and r 0 of the impurity and host atoms, respectively, causes their non–central interaction. A very strong dependence of the impurity frequency spectra on the ratio 
$$\widetilde{r_0 }/r_0 $$
is shown. The range of the values of this ratio which corresponds to dynamical stabitity of the system under consideration is determined.
