| Abstract: | Based on analyses of the manufacturing procedures of railroad wheels in England, Germany, Japan,America and Russia, a new procedure was developed by the inventigation of experiments and numerical simulation. The billet was at first pre formed and close-die forged on different hydraulic presses and then the forging was rolled, punched and bended. Such a production line will be the most efficient. |
