超声辐射相转移催化合成对甲苯基苄基醚

摘    要:以水为溶剂,对甲苯酚和氯化苄为主要原料,在相转移催化剂四丁基溴化铵作用下通过超声辐射合成了对甲苯基苄基醚,产物经IR和元素分析表征,并考察了原料配比、催化剂用量、超声辐射时间和功率等因素对产物收率的影响。实验结果表明,合成对甲苯基苄基醚的优化工艺条件为:对甲苯酚0.1 mol,n(对甲苯酚)∶n(NaOH)=1∶1.2,n(对甲苯酚)∶n(氯化苄)=1∶1.5,相转移催化剂四丁基溴化铵的用量为2.0 g,反应温度为70℃,超声辐射时间为60 min,功率为80 W,在此条件下收率可达98.5%。

Abstract:With phase transfer catalyst tetrabutylammonium bromide(TBAB),p-tolyl benzyl ether was synthesized by the reaction of p-cresol and benzyl chloride in distilled water under help of ultrasonic irradiation.The product was characterized by IR spectrum and elemental analysis.Effects of molar ratio of the reactants,catalyst dosage,as well as power and time of ultrasonic irradiation on the product yield were investigated.Experimental results showed that optimal reaction conditions are as follows:n(p-cresol)∶n(NaOH)=1∶1.2,n(p-cresol)∶n(benzyl chloride)=1∶1.5(based on 0.1 mol p-cresol),dosage of catalyst 2.0 g,reaction temperature 70 ℃,reaction time 60 min and power of ultrasound 80 W.Yield of the product achieves 98.5%.
