Analysis of experimental unit of implementing peak and valley electricity prices among residents in Ningbo province

Implement of peak and velley electricity prices to residents is a key approach to widen the power market. The policy encourages people to consume valley electricity, encourages to widen the use of clean energy for improvement of people's living standard and helps to accelerate the development of electric industry with the leverage of price and let the power grid transfer peak loads effectively to realize "cut peak and fill valley", thus to improve load factor and economical operation level of the grid. The situations of Ningbo residents' electricity consumption before and after the implement of peak and valley electricity prices were analyzed.
