| Abstract: | This article discusses three ways of teaching cultural background knowledge,namely,direct approach,incidental approach,and communicative ap-proach,which can help the students gain some useful knowleldge,get a better un-derstanding of what they learn and lay solid foundations for their future successful communications in English. |
