| Abstract: | This paper introduces the meaning of the RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks), its classification and its applications in Linux. It also discusses the architecture of the software RAID device driver and the mechanism of the buffer cache. Furthermore, the detailed implementation of the RAID1 is analyzed as an example. |
