In the paper, a high power programmable multi - function calibratoris introduced, which is used to calibrate digital multimeter and analog meter,particularly for electrodynamic instrument. 0.05 % accuracy of the calibrator allowscalibration to be made according to electrical meter verification regulation inintrinsic error, variation (up/down) and linearity for AC/DC voltmeter,currentmeter and digital meter with 0.2 accuracy class. The output value of the instrument can be setarbitrarily in ranges with the highest resolution. The error of the calibrated meter and the output valueof the calibrator can be displayed simultaneously on panal. Besides, the calibrator can draw scales foranalog meters, and also check the moving smoothness of meter's needle. The instrument has a reliableand advanced self-protecting circuit.
