压电驱动技术在电火花加工中的应用

摘    要:压电驱动技术可实现电极直接驱动进行电火花加工,该技术可以广泛地用于航天航空,精密模具,医疗器械等领域中微型器件或异形微小孔的加工,介绍几种典型的压电驱动技术,如椭圆式电火化加工技术,基于超声马达的电火化加工技术,蠕动式电火花加工技术,为提高电火花加工的效率,缩短加工时间,提出在压电驱动技术的基础上进一步在加工电极上附加超声振动,为该项新技术的发展提供了启示。

Abstract:A new type of method, in which direct driving of electrode tool is applied using piezoelectric driving technology, appears in the middle of 1990's. Such technology could be applied to machine micro-devices and profiled micro-holes in the fields of aerospace and aeronautics, precision mould, medical instruments etc..In this paper, several representative piezoelectric driving methods are reviewed, such as elliptical-type EDM, ultrasonic-motor-based EDM, inchworm-type EDM. At the same time, in order to increase efficiency and to decrease machining time, possibility and characteristics of ultrasonic enhanced micro EDM are put forward as a reference to a further development of piezoelectric driving EDM.
