| 摘 要： | According a leading person of China Institute of Atomic Energy （CIAE）, the first experimental fast neutron reactor under construction with thermal power of 65 MW is proceeding smoothly, and the construction designhas been finished completely. It is expected that the reactor will be finished and go critical in September 2009, and generate electricity on trial in September 2010.

| Abstract: | The unit 5 of Huangdao Power Plant which was financed and built by Qingdao Guoxin industrial Co., Ltd. carried out 168-hour trial operation on October 24. Its load factor reached over 98%. All the indexes of trial operation were excellent. At present, the unit is in operation under the conditions of full protection, full automation and full load. |
