| Abstract: | A review was provided of the current status, existent problems and latest research progress of pretreatment of Mg alloys for electroless Ni plating. The functions and properties of the main bath ingredients as well as the latest achievements in research of electroless Ni plating of Mg alloys were introduced.Moreover, the problems concerning the plating baths for dectroless Ni plating of Mg alloys were suggested, and the direction of direct
electreless nickel plating on magnesium alloys was prospected. |
