Exploration on the Transformation of Mortise and Tenon Structure

Mortise and tenon structure of hardwood furniture is a kind of traditional arts and crafts in China, representing cultural characteristics and scientific rationality. Under their appearance, there are moral and technical connotations that we do not know now. In the article, tradi- tional mortise and tenon structure are categorized from the perspective of application and the methods of modernizing this old traditional craft are explored.
