| Abstract: | West Guangxi is the main producer of Karst-accumulation-type bauxite. The bauxite deposits occur in the laterite crust developed in karst basins. The chemical composition of ores features high Fe, high Al/Si ration, low S. The ore-forming materials come from the bauxite-bearing paleo-weathering crust. The metallogenic age is early Pleistocene. It is a bauxite deposit related genetically to karstification and laterizatin. |
