Abstract: | Hydroquinones
-bonded to the transition metal fragments Mn(CO)
, Rh(COD)+, and RhP(OPh)3]2+ are readily deprotonated to afford anionic
-quinone complexes that function as organometalloligands by binding to metal ions through the quinone oxygen atoms. The resulting
supramolecular assemblies display a variety of interesting and potentially useful network topologies.
