国际矿业英文学术期刊中外作者论文引言的语境功能标记性主位对比分析

根据系统功能语法理论对标记性主位的定义,对国际矿业英文学术期刊中外作者论文的引言进行研究,发现中外作者都在一定程度上使用了语境功能标记性主位,并且在表示时间和表示条件的标记性主位的使用频率上有差异。这种差异表明中国作者在英语引言写作中发生母语迁移现象,同时中外思维上的不同也导致了这种差异。

A Contrastive Analysis of Context Frame Marked Theme in English Research Article Introductions by Chinese and Native English Authors in Mining Engineering

Based on the definition of theme by Systemic Functional Grammar,a contrastive study was carried out to analyze the distribution of Context frame marked themes in the Research Article Introductions of Mining Engineering written by Chinese authors and native English authors.The results show that both Chinese authors and native English authors applied Context frame marked themes in their RA introduction writing,and the significant differences exist in the distribution of Context frame marked themes with location in time and that of conditions.These differences may contribute to the language transfer of Chinese authors in English RA introduction writing and the different thinking patterns of Chinese authors and native English authors.
