| Abstract: | The sorts of radioactive wastes produced in uranium mining and metallurgy and their hazards are discribed in this Paper, The characteristics of the radioactive wastes are discussed. The measurements and results are introduced for treatment and disposal of the radioactive wastes. The way to deal with prevention and treatment f radioactive Wastes is presented in the stages of engineering design, construction, production and decommission of uranium mines and plants. |
