Abstract:This study shows that leady oxide containing different trace amounts of bismuth is able to improve discharge performance of lead acid batteries and it is particularly beneficial to the positive plate and battery life.It has been found that the bismuth content of 0 004% in leady oxide mades all performance of the batteries in good levels.
