汽车用耐高温125°C电缆料的开发

摘    要:由于汽车技术的快速进步,特别是发动机室内温度的提高,汽车制造商要求应用更耐热、耐磨和耐化学物质的材料。交联聚烯烃成为能够满足这些要求的产品的关键技术。最近美国Dow化学公司已经致力于过氧化物和潮气交联技术方面的研究与开发,用来制造能够用于125°C的汽车电缆。本文介绍该公司开发的一种具有优良的耐热性和可加工性的过氧化物交联的汽车电缆材料。还讨论了该公司与一家国际汽车电缆制造商联合开发的用潮气交联的汽车电缆材料。文章说明了聚合物、阻燃剂与交联度对产品性能的影响。

Abstract:With the rapid development of automobile technology, especially the increase in temperature of the engine room, cables of higher heat/abrasion/chemical resistance are demanded by the automobile manufacturers. Polyolefine has therefore become the key material to meet all these requirements. Dow Chemical, USA has been engaging in R&D of peroxide and moisture crosslinking techniques in order to make (120 °C) automobile cables. This paper presents a peroxide-cross-linkable compound featuring excellent heat resistance and processability for automobile cables. It also presents a moisture cross-linkable compound for automobile cables jointly developed by Dow Chemical and an international automobile manufacturer and the effect of the polymer, flame-retardant additive and crosslinking degree on the properties of cable compound.
