Ozonation: Its Effect on the Apparent Molecular Weight of Naturally Occurring Organics and Trihalomethane Production

Ozone pretreatment studies were conducted to evaluate the impact of preozonation on the apparent molecular weight distribution of naturally occurring organics and on the production of trihalomethanes following chlorination. The studies were carried out for eleven months to allow measurements of seasonal varations on the results of the preozonation process.
