Application of discontinuous communications in channels with random parameters to transmit narrowband signals and signals with orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing

Abstract:An algorithm for increasing the interference immunity is analyzed in the case where the discontinuous communications method and its interconnecting with diversity reception in a Rayleigh channel are used for narrowband signals and signals with orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing. It is demonstrated that the probability of errors can be diminished without a significant decrease in spectral efficiency.
