The urban design of waterfront in Jilin City not only affects the development of areas along the Yangtze River,but also constraints the whole urban spatial structure.This article starts with the urban feature resources,puts forward design principles and objectives of waterfront.Based on the practical strategy of "Water Green Belt" Project,it proposes the integrative ideas about the urban design of waterfront both in theory and practice.
